Exploring the outdoor interior

Photo (taken by Virginia) from Nuit Blanche 2008. A back alley is transformed into an interior, office-like space, ceiling panels and fluorescent lighting included. A homeless person remains, seemingly oblivious to having become an objet d'art.

Searching through old files, I found this image entitled "liquid". I recall this from a photoshoot I did in Montreal at the opening of a boutique that specializes in mannequins.

Women on the Bosphorus cruise

I enjoyed observing these women, their warm interaction with one another, their elegance and yet casual mannerisms. Although it may appear as if they are turning away from the camera, they were in fact distracted by something scenic and were looking toward it when I snapped this. I didn't notice until later that the image could come across as if they were asking not to be photographed - of course, if this were the case, I woudn't have.

Shot in London, England, June 14. I spotted this man and pegged him as the perfect Englishman. So I asked if I could take his portrait, his reply? "Certainly, though I don't know why you'd want to." So dry, so British!

Lucky Only You

Back from the hiatus, although posts will not be very frequent over the next month as I will be away and without my computer. However, I am expecting to gather a lot of fodder, so stay tuned in mid-July for more posts.

Meanwhile, this was shot along Bathurst, south of Bloor. Not sure what it is, but I liked the message. I do feel quite lucky.
